Awesome Technologies

MB&F HM4 Thunderbolt Watch

“This doesn’t look like a watch!!” you will have to agree, it doesn’t! Just too different to actually call it a watch. But hell! As if we care, all we want is some real cool stuff. Oh of course, its pretty helpful… it tells time!
Price: $158,000 (Rs. 73, 72,280 approx!)

LED table

The best way to pass time while your dinner’s being made… This crazy table’s got lights on both halves of the table. Hopefully it should help with building your appetite by counting lights!
Price: $23,175.00 (Rs. 10, 81,350 approx.)

Now that we’ve seen gadgets that are already made and are waiting to be bought (and force you to surrender your credit card), here are a few “concepts”, stuff that may be in the making or are just super cool ideas.

Window Phone Concept Gadget

This is a window phone concept, has an absolutely beautiful display and the best part is that it’s made of glass! It’s designed by Seunghan Song and is found over at Yanko. It can display certain information such as current weather conditions as well as predictions for the next day or 2.
Seems to be worth saving for!

Prime Gaming Laptop Concept

This is what many hardcore gaming fans would be waiting for. A concept idea which takes a 13″ laptop and ads a couple of extra OLED screens on the side giving it a total of a 26″ diagonal screen. The body of the Prime Gaming Laptop is made of aluminum and large vents can be found which keep the 2 CPUs and GPUs nice and cool.

Fujitsu Self-Destructing USB Drives

Any top-secret information that you think should not fall in the hands of a stranger. Here’s what you can buy. These Self-Destructing Drives are not meant to blow up in smoke (alas! That was exactly what you expected it to be, right?) But rather, the information stored inside gets erased. Looking for a role in the latest 007 flick?

Bluetooth VTR USB Flash Drive Concept

You’ll be waiting for this gizmo by the time you finish reading this article. It’s an innovative concept by Raja, has an LED screen which helps you to browse through the files that are already in the Flash drive, and through Bluetooth can help you send files to any mobile device! Lets hope it has a nice price tag attached.

So, hopefully this wacky article has set the mechanisms in your brain in motion. There are many concepts that people can come up with, many of which can definitely be useful. It would be great to know some cool gizmos that you would like to see or also of any gadgets you have heard of.

Video Camera Pen Captures Conversations From Your Shirt Pocket

A whole new meaning of being caught in the act! This cool device, has a camera on the front and a button on the top, you can record conversations by pressing the button. The camera captures the video and audio upto fifty feet (at least that’s what they claim). So, any problems with your friend who doesn’t remember the money he/she owed you? Just capture them taking money from you (the best part is, they don’t even know they’re on camera!) and they won’t have an excuse while paying back. And yes, for your information, you can write with it too!
Price: $129.95 (Rs.6100 approx.)

Ectaco iTravl Multilingual Communicator

You definitely must have thought that this device is an absolute necessity in India. It’s got a built-in Language Teacher (please the locals, learn their languages!), a copy of Fodor’s Travel Guides, and a CIA World Factbook to help the amateur Traveler. The only glitch would be that they don’t have specific software for India, but they’ll surely cave-in due to public demand! So if you get an “Enna Rascala!!” you appropriately respond with “Mind it!”
Price: $549.00 (Rs. 26,000 approx.)

Star Wars Lightsaber Laser Pointer

Bored of the usual presentation thing? Guess what! There’s this uber cool pointer called Lightsaber! Will definitely ring some bells for Star Wars addicts... It’s a one-third scaled version of the Lightsaber you’veseen on TV. But definitely a lot of fun guaranteed. So, the next time you gotta make that boring presentation, just whip out the Lightsaber pointer and show them that you mean business!
Price: $14.99 (Rs. 700 approx.)
